On March 01, 1973, around 120 Khmer Viet Cong soldiers moved from Trapeang Veng village at VT 682-584 and VT 680-584 to Porng Toek village at VT 685-601 in Ang Popel sub-district, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province Tapeang Veng village at VT 682-584 and 680-584. Then they were divided into two groups and spy on the National Army between VT 687-605 and VT 695-605.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១ មីនា ១៩៧៣ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធ ប្រហែល១២០នាក់ បានធ្វើដំណើរកាត់តាមភូមិត្រពាំងវែង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៦៨២-៥៨៤ និងវ៉េតេ ៦៨០-៥៨៤ ឆ្ពោះមក ភូមិពងទឹក វ៉េតេ ៦៨៥-៦០១ ឃុំអង្គពពេល ស្រុកគងពិសី ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ។ ក្រោយ ពីបានស្នាក់នៅចំណុចខាងលើហើយពួកខ្មាំងនេះបានចាត់គ្នាវា ចំនួន២ក្រុម ឱ្យមកឈ្លបមើលសកម្មភាពកងទ័ពយើងនៅវ៉េតេ ៦៨៧-៦០៥ រហូតដល់វ៉េតេ ៦៩៥-៦០៥។
