On January 12, 1973, around 500 Khmer-Yuon Viet Cong soldiers moved from Khleang village at WT 962-353 in Laek Dek sub-district in order to destroy the National Army base in Leuk Dek district offfice, situated in Prek Dach village, Trapeang Svay Phluos sub-district, Leuk Dek district, Kandal province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១២ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានយួន និងខ្មែរយៀកកុង ប្រដាប់អាវុធប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ បានចេញពីភូមិឃ្លាំង ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ ១៦២-៣៥៣ សង្កាត់លើកដែក ឆ្ពោះចូលមកវាយប្រហារទៅលើកង ទ័ពជាតិ នៅសាលាស្រុកលើកដែកចាស់ ត្រង់ភូមិព្រែកដាច់ សង្កាត់ត្រពាំងស្វាយភ្លោះ ស្រុកលើកដែក ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
