On November 17, 1971, a large number of North Yuon Viet Congs were sent to Prek Kongreach village at WT 164-737 and Prek Krauch village at WT 188-736 in Phoum Thom commune, Lvea Em district, Kandal province. They propagandized that they attempted to attack and occupy the battlefield in above region. On the hand, they forced young villagers to learn military strategy in order to become soldiers.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៧-មីនា-១៩៧១ ពួកខ្មាំងបានបន្ថែមទ័ពយ៉ាងច្រើន មកភូមិព្រែកគង់រាជ ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១៦៤-៧៣៧ និងភូមិ ព្រែកក្រូច ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១៨៨-៧៣៦ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ភូមិធំ ស្រុកល្វាឯម ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ពួកនេះបានឃោសនាប្រាប់អ្នកស្រុកថា វានឹងបើកសមរភូមិពីចំណុចខាងលើនេះ ដើម្បីវាយយកចាញ់ឈ្នះ ហើយសព្វថ្ងៃនេះពួកខ្មាំងបានបង្ខំឱ្យកូនកំលោះក្រមុំរបស់អ្នកស្រុក នៅតំបន់នោះឱ្យទៅហ្វឹកហ្វឺនវិជ្ជាយុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រដើម្បីរួមកម្លាំងជាមួយ ពួកវា។
