A source showed that on October 12, 1972, approximately 60 north Viet Cong armed forces hid themselves in 3 houses located in a forest at VT 593-735, Samraong torng sub-district of Kampong Speu province. They intended to attack National Army based in Wat Ang Khmao, and Phnom Tmat Porng.
