Khatt Kun who defected to the government said that in 1970 he was assigned to teach children, but because of his mother sickness he was not trusted. Then he was given a responsibility to guard the village without gun. He defected because he counldn't stand hardwork and he also spoke against the Khmer Rouge.
ឈ្មោះ ខាត់ គុន បានចូលមកសារភាពថា នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ ពួកខ្មាំង បានតាំងឱ្យខ្លួនធ្វើជាគ្រូបង្រៀនកេ្មងៗតែពុំបានសមេ្រចដោយម្ដាយ មានជម្ងឺពួកវាលែងទុកចិត្ដហើយឱ្យយាមតាមភូមិតែមិនឱ្យកាន់កាំភ្លើង ទេ។ ឯកសាររត់មកសារភាពនេះ ដោយលំបាកនិងការទ្រាំទ្រពីពួកខ្មាំង និងនិយាយតវ៉ាជាមួយខ្មាំងធ្វើឱ្យវាខឹងដេញរហូតរត់ចេញសារភាព។
