On January 22, 1974, Iem An, Chean Maut Thean Khun who were driving by Khmer Rouge form Kampong Svay district, Kampong Thom province, fled from Baray district, Kampong Thom province and appeared at National Armed Forces based in Bak Touk. They said that nowadays armed Khmer Communist were gathering Vietnamese then assembled at Kampong Thmar market before sending them to Memot chub and Suong.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ មានអ្នកស្រុក៣នាក់ បាន ភៀសខ្លួនចេញពីស្រុកបារាយណ៍ ក្នុងខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ មកដល់ទីតាំងយើង នៅបាក់ទូក។ អ្នកទាំងនេះខ្មាំងបានគៀរពីឃុំរលួស ស្រុកកំពង់ស្វាយ ខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ។ ឈ្មោះអ្នកទាំង៣នេះគឺ អៀម អាន, ជាន ម៉ូត និង ធាន ខុមបានឆ្លើយថា សព្វថ្ងៃពួកខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដប្រដាប់អាវុធកំពុង ប្រមូលសញ្ជាតិយួន យកទៅជុំគ្នាក្នុងផ្សារកំពង់ថ្ម មុនពេលពួកវាបញ្ជូន ខ្លួនទៅកាន់មេមត់ជប់ និងសួង។
