So Chea and his wife Nieng Yang Yan, who lived in Banteay Dek village fled from enemy's area and reported that enemy made up of about 200 Cham and Khmer soldiers. On February 11, 1974, so the appeared at Kampong Chhnang National Police and reported that in July 1974, about 100 Khmer Communist who moved from Chong Chheu Kach and Banteay Ampil village Kork Banteay sub-district, Rolea Pha-ear district, Kampong Chhnang province evacuated and robbed villagers. They threatened that they would attack Kork Banteay village very soon, so villagers should follow them The driven people were miserable becuase of shortage of food and dresses.
ឈ្មោះ សូ ជា និងប្រពន្ធនាង យ៉ង់ យន នៅភូមិបន្ទាយដែករត់ គេចពីតំបន់ខ្មាំងបានឱ្យការណ៍ថា ខ្មាំងមានទ័ពប្រហែល២០០នាក់ មានចាម និងខ្មែរលាយគ្នា។ កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១១ ខែកុម្ភះ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ជនភៀសខ្លួនឈោះ សូ ថែ បានចូលមកនគរបាលជាតិកំពង់ឆ្នាំង ផ្ដល់ព័ត៌មានដូចតទៅ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដប្រហែល ១០០នាក់ មកពីភូមិចុងឈើត្រាច និងបន្ទាយអំពិល ឃុំគោកបន្ទាយ ស្រុករលាប្អៀរ ខេត្ដកំពង់ឆ្នាំង បានចូលកៀរ និងប្លន់អ៊ីវ៉ាន់អ្នកស្រុក និងនិយាយបំភ្លៃថា ពួកវានឹងវាយភូមិគោកបន្ទាយឆាប់ៗនេះ ហើយ ឱ្យអ្នកស្រុកចាកចេញតាមពួកវា។ អ្នកស្រុកដែលត្រូវកៀរទៅនោះ វេទនាក្រៃលែង ព្រោះខ្វះស្បៀង និងសម្លៀកបំពាក់។
