On April 4, 1974, seven families with 27 people who fled from Russei Chongrong village, Romeang Thkaol sub-district, Romduol district, appeared at Battalion 409, in the East of Svay Rieng town. They said that Khmer Rouge collected people's rice and raised money very often. Villagers' children were mobilized to join front armed forces, and they got 10 rields a month as a salary.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ៤ មេសា ១៩៧៤ ម៉េាង៦ៈ០០ មានជនភៀសខ្លួន៧ គ្រួសរមាន គ្នា២៧នាក់ មកពីភូមិឫស្សីជង្រុង ឃុំមោងថ្កោល ស្រុករំដួល មកកងវរៈសេនាតូច៤០៩ ប្រចាំការនៅប៉ែកខាងកើតក្រុង ស្វាយរៀងបានឱ្យដឹងថា សព្វថ្ងៃពួកខ្មែរក្រហមបានប្រមូលស្រូវអ្នក ស្រុកយកទៅដាក់ជម្រុករួម អង្គាសលុយញឹកញាប់ព្រមទាំងកេណ្ឌកូន អ្នកស្រុកឱ្យទៅធ្វើទ័ពរណសិរ្សរបស់ពួកវា ដោយបើកប្រាក់ខែក្នុងម្នាក់ ១០រៀល។
