On January 4, 1974, about 5,000 Khmer Communist soldiers moved from Amleang and Thmei village at VT 486-955 to Tik Lorng village at VT 456-916 in Pram Bei Mom sub-district, Peang Lveang district, Kirirom province. They attempted to attack Phnom Penh and cut off the National road 4 between Thnal Toting and Ang Snuol.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ៤-មករា-១៩៧៤ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដប្រហែល៥,០០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានធ្វើចលនាចេញពីអម្លាំង និងភូមិថ្មី ត្រង់ចំណុច វ៉េតេ ៤៨៦-៩៥៥ ហើយចូលមកស្នាក់នៅភូមិទឹកលង ត្រង់ចំណុច វ៉េតេ ៤៤៦-៩១៦ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ប្រាំបីមុំ ស្រុកពាំងល្វា (គិរីរម្យ)។ គោលបំណងខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះប្រុងវាយផ្ដាច់ផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៤ នៅម្ដុំថ្នល់ទទឹង និងអង្កស្នួល ពិសេសនឹងវាយលុកចូលក្រុងភ្នំពេញទៀតផង។
