On March 20, 1973, about 500 to 700 Khmer-Yuon Viet Cong soldiers armed with 82mm heavy artilleries, 75mm heavy artilleries and a lot of 122mm rocket shells in Para military uniforms and black caps with a red band entered to VT 952-626, 962-627 and 944-636 in Takhmao sub-district, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. 13 villagers who stayed Tuol Kra Sang and Ta At village in Kandal Stung district were caught by the above enemies. They attempted to destroy Takhmao provincial town shortly there after.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២០ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ យួន និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួន ប្រហែល៥០០-៧០០នាក់ ក្នុងកងវរៈសេនាតូច១៧ តំបន់២៥ ស្លៀកពាក់ប៉ារ៉ាពាក់មួកខ្មៅឆ្នូតក្រហមប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ ជាពិសេសមាន កាំភើ្លងត្បាល់ធុន៨២មម, កាណុងធុន៧៥មម និងរ៉ុក្កែតទំហំ១២២មមជាច្រើនគ្រាប់ បានចូលមកស្នាក់នៅត្រង់ ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ៩៥២-៦២៦, វ៉េតេៈ៩៦២-៦២៧ និងវ៉េតេៈ៩៤៤-៦៣៦ ក្នុងឃុំតាខ្មៅ ស្រុកកណ្ដាលសឹ្ទង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះបានចាប់អ្នកស្រុក១៣នាក់ នៅភូមិទួលក្រសាំង ភូមិតាអាត់ ក្នុងស្រុកកណ្ដាលសឹ្ទង ហើយមានបំណងវាយប្រហារ ក្រុងតាខ្មៅឆាប់ៗនេះ។
