On January 19, 1974, about 30 armed Khmer Communist wearing black uniform, transported rocket shells by 10 ox-carts from Svay Meas at VT 075-888, Khsach Kandal district to hide in bushes near the edge lake at WT 023-880, 015-883 in Prek Ampil sub-district, Prek Luong district, Vihear Suor province. They all attempted to fire rocket shells at Phnom Penh on the coming Chinese new year's day.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៩-មករា-១៩៧៤ ខ្មែរកុម្មយនិស្ដចំនួនប្រហែល៣០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃស្លៀកពាក់ខ្មៅ បានដឹកគ្រាប់រ៉ុក្កែតចំនួន ប្រហែល១០រទេះគោ ចេញពីស្វាយមាស ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ០៧៥-៨៨៨ ក្នុងស្រុកខ្សាច់កណ្ដាល ហើយយកមកលាក់ទុក នៅក្នុងព្រៃល្បោះមួយក្បែរមាត់បឹងត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ០២៣-៨៨០, ០១៥-៨៨៣ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ព្រែកអំពិល ស្រុក ព្រែកលួង ខេត្ដវិហារសួគ៌។ គោលបំណងខ្មាំងប្រុងបាញ់ផ្លោង រ៉ុក្កែតមកលើក្រុងភ្នំពេញ នៅពេលចូលឆ្នាំចិន-យួនខាងមុខនេះ។
