On January 17, 1974, about 50 Khmer Communist soldiers hid at UV 445-875 to the southwest of Sasa Skorm sub-district, in Puok district, Siem Reap province in an attempt to catch villagers who were harvesting rice in that region.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១៧-មករា-១៩៧៤ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដប្រហែល៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ បានចូលមកលាក់ខ្លួននៅខាងត្បូងឈៀង ខាងលិចសង្កាត់សសរស្គម ត្រង់ចំណុចអ៊ុយវ៉េ ៤៤៥-៨៧៥ ក្នុងស្រុកពួក ខេត្ដសៀមរាប។ ពិសេសខ្មាំងមានបំណងនឹងចាប់ អ្នកស្រុកច្រូតស្រូវក្នុងតំបន់នេះ។
