A large number of Khmer Viet Cong set up their camps and headquarter in Yuon village at WT 144-666, Banteay Dek commune. Another group set up artilleries positions 60mm, 82mm mortars and 75mm cannon in Kanleng Chass village at WT 113-673, WT 113-678, 119-678, 121-673 and WT 128-671, Dei Eth commune, Kean Svay district of Kandal province.
មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងជាច្រើនបានមកតាំងជំរុំ និងទីបញ្ជាការនៅភូមិយួន ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ១៤៤-៦៦៦ ក្នុងឃុំបន្ទាយដែក ហើយខ្មាំង មួយក្រុមទៀតបានតាំងកាំភើ្លងធំ៦០មម,៨២មម និងកាណុង៧៥មម នៅភូមិកន្លែងចាស់ ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ១១៣-៦៧៣, ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១១៣-៦៧៨, ១១៩-៦៧៨, ១២១-៦៧៣ និងឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ១២៨-៦៧១ ក្នុងឃុំដីឥដ្ឋ ស្រុកកៀនស្វាយ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
