On April 1, 1973, about 500 to 600 Khmer Viet Cong armed forces deployed from a village located in middle of an island at VT 024-677, Prek Thmei commune to Prek Svay village WT 062-657, Chheu Teal commune, Kean Svay district of Kandal province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួនពី៥០០-៦០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានមករាយគ្នាត្រង់ភូមិកណ្ដាលកោះ មួយ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ០២៤-៦៧៧ ក្នុងឃុំព្រែកថី្ម មកទល់នឹងភូមិ ព្រែកស្វាយ ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ០៦២-៦៥៧ ក្នុងឃុំឈើទាល ស្រុក កៀនស្វាយ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
