On April 11, 1973, about 400 Khmer-Yuon Viet Cong armed forces moved from a canal behind Seth Tbau village and Roka Khpuos village VT 976-612, 945-630 and 988-588 to deploy along national road No. 30 from WT 025-664 to WT 015-605, Roka Khpuos sub-district, Sa Ang district of Kandal. Another 50 enemies set up shelters in Kam Bao village VT 952-634 and 943-640 in an attempt to attack Takhmao provncial town before Khmer New Year's day.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១១ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានយួន និងខ្មែរយៀកកុង ប្រដាប់អាវុធប្រហែល៤០០នាក់ បានចេញពីព្រៃក្រោយភូមិសិត្បូ និងរការខ្ពស់ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ៩៧៦-៦១២, ៩៩៥-៦៣០ និង ៩៨៨-៥៨៨ ឆ្ពោះចូលមករាយគ្នានៅតាមផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៣០ ចាប់ពីចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ០២៥-៦៦៤ ដល់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ០១៥-៦០៥ ក្នុងសង្កាត់រការខ្ពស់ ស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ មានខ្មាំងប្រហែល៥០នាក់ផេ្សងទៀត បានមកតាំងជម្រកនៅភូមិកំបោរ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ៩៥២-៦៣៤ និង៩៤៣-៦៤០ ក្នុងបំណងវាយ លុកចូលក្រុងតាខ្មៅនៅពេលចូលឆ្នាំខ្មែរ។
