On January 29, 1974, about 700 Khmer Communist in battalion k1 and k2 of regiment 7 forcibly gathered local people in Bak Chenchien village at UU 703-785, 785-703 to Kam Reng and Bam Nak. The source added that the Khmer Communist were gathering their troops from Kampng Chhnang and Kampong Speu province, especially from all units in region 2 including mobile troops to be ready for opening second attack on Kam Reng and Bam Nak.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៩-មករា-១៩៧៤ មានខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដប្រហែល៧០០នាក់ ស្ថិតនៅក្នុងកងវរៈសេនាតូច គ១ និងកងគ២ នៃកងវរៈសេនាធំ៧ បានចូលមកកេណ្ឌអ្នកស្រុកពីភូមិបាក់ចិព្ចោៀន ត្រង់អ៊ុយអ៊ុយ ៧០៣-៧៨៥, ៧៨៥-៧០៣ ឆ្ពោះទៅកំរ៉ែង និងបំណក់។ ប្រភពបានបន្ដថា ពួកខ្មាំងកំពុងតែប្រមូលទ័ពពីកំពង់ឆ្នាំង, កំពង់ស្ពឺ ជាពិសេសនៅគ្រប់ អង្គភាពនានាក្នុងតំបន់២ រួមទាំងកងចល័តផងឱ្យចូលមករៀបចំក្បួន និងត្រៀមលក្ខណៈចូលវាយប្រហារជាលើកទី២ នៅកំរ៉ែង និងបំណក់។
