A source reported that on April 17, 1973, about 2,000 Khmer-yuon Viet Cong soldiers who stayed between Prek Paov at WT 015-660 and Seta Bo at WT 040-657 in Sa Ang district, Kandal province gathered togather with other soldiers in order to destroy and burn the national armed force bases at WT 009-660 in between Seta Bo pagoda and Prek Pav in Svay Ro Lum sub-district, Sa Ang district, Kandal province.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់ថា នៅចាប់ពីព្រែកប៉ាវ ឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ០១៥-៦៦០ ដល់សិត្បូ ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ០៤០-៦៥៧ ស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល មានយួន និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងជាច្រើនបានមកបន្ថែមទ័ពជំនួយ ដើម្បី ធើ្វការវាយលុកមកលើកងទ័ពជាតិនៅថ្ងៃទី១៧ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ នៅចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ០០៩-៦៦០ និងដុតបំផ្លាញផ្ទះនៅម្ដុំវត្ដសិត្បូ ដល់ព្រែកប៉ាវ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ស្វាយរលំ ស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ចំណែកនៅម្ដុំភូមិព្រែកដូង ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេៈ០៦៧-៦៤៥, ៦៦០-៦៤០ ក៏មានខ្មាំងដែលជាទ័ពជំនួយប្រហែល២,០០០នាក់ បានចូល មកស្នាក់នៅដែរ។
