A source said that about 400 Khmer Communist armed force in battalion K-5 under the command of Yum stayed from Tuol Rokieng at UV 550-080 to Samrong Pork at uv536-095 in order to protect villagers in Bakan district. Another 200 troops of battalion K-17 under the command of Tum equipped with CKC, AK47, M79, 81mm, B40 also protected viilagers in the south of National road 5 of Bakan district.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា ខ្មែរកុម្មយនិស្ដប្រហែល៤០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ ដោយអាវុធស្ថិតក្នុងកងវរៈសេនាតូច គ៥ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ យុំ បានចូលមកស្នាក់នៅចាប់ពីទួលរគៀង ត្រង់អ៊ុយវ៉េ ៥៥០-០៨០ ដល់សំរោងពក ត្រង់អ៊ុយវ៉េ ៥៣៦-០៩៥ ដើម្បីមកការពារស្រុក បាកាន។ ចំណែកកងវរៈសេនាតូចលេខ គ១៧ ប្រហែល២០០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ទុំ ប្រដាប់អាវុធសេកាសេ, អាកា៤៧, អ៊ឹម៧៩, ៨១មម, បេ៤០ បានចូលមកការពារស្រុកបាកាន ដែលស្ថិតនៅខាងត្បូងផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៥។
