On June 3, 1972, a Corporal Sergeant Chhin Sek, and a Sergeant-Major Keo Run, the member of Khmer National Geographical Features Group, were presented to Khmer National General Staff confessing that they had been arrested since June 1, 1972, on National Road No.5 in between Kruos and Prek Ta Ten villages, Prek Taten sub-district, Ponhea Leu district of Kandal. On June 2, 1972, the two soldiers were released. According to an investigation of the second bureau of Khmer National General Staff, they had not been captured by enemy troops, but they pretended to be so in order to avoid being punished.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៣ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានពលបាលទោ ឈិន សេត និងនាយឯក កែវ រុន ធ្វើការនៅក្រុមភូមិសាស្ដ្រយោធពលខេមរជាតិ បានចូលទៅបង្ហាញខ្លួនចំពោះអគ្គសេនាធិការយោធពលខេមរជាតិ សារភាពថាខ្លួនទាំង២ ត្រូវបានខ្មាំងចាប់កាលពីថ្ងៃ១ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ នៅតាមផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៥ ត្រង់ចន្លោះភូមិគ្រួស និងភូមិ ព្រែកតាទែន ឃុំព្រែកតាទែន ស្រុកពញ្ញាឮ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ លុះដល់ ថ្ងៃទី២ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ ប្រភពទាំង២ ត្រូវបានដោះលែងមក វិញ។ ឆ្លងតាមការស្រាវជ្រាវរបស់ការិយាល័យទី២ នៃអគ្គសេនាធិ ការយោធពលខេមរជាតិ មកមួយរយៈទើបដឹងថា ជនទាំងពីរមិនមែន ខ្មាំងចាប់ទេ គឺអ្នកទាំង២រកល្បិចភូតកុហកដើម្បី ជៀសវាងការធ្វើ ទណ្ឌកម្ម។
