A source reported that Mongkol Borei district known as region 5 was under the control of district chief Krack called Sdaeng 80 percent of military forces and ordinary people were in the mood of constand struggle, but 20 percent of them were debilitated. Weapons used in the district included a 60mm mortars, 2 B-40, 2 M-79, CKC, AK-R-15, M-16 and mines.
