On June 11, 1974, a Khmer Communist, Saom Saren, a combatant in Kampong Ro district, defected to national military authorities in Battalion 214 based at WT:948-208. He also brought along a CKC No. 12344156. He confessed that he had just managed to escape from enemy detention center at WT:051-193.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១១ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ មានខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដម្នាក់ឈ្មោះ សោម សារ៉េន ជាយុទ្ធជន នៅកងទ័ពស្រុកកំពង់រោទិ៍ បានចូលមក សារភាពជាមួយអាជ្ញាធរជាតិនៅកងវរៈសេនាតូច២១៤ ឌុបដឺវ៉េអ៊ុយ ៩៤៨-២០៨ ព្រមទាំងបាននាំយកអាវុធសេកាសេ មួយដើម លេខ១២៣៤៤១៥៦ មកជាមួយផង។ ប្រភពបានសារភាព ថាខ្លួនបានគេចចេញពីទីឃុំឃាំងរបស់ខ្មាំងនៅចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ០៥១-១៩៣ ហើយមកចុះចូលសារភាពតែម្ដង។
