On April 22, 1974, two Khmer Rouge soldiers named Thau Vong and Lam Huon Alias Lam Meun, who just escaped from Kok Daung village, Va Ren sub-district, Siem Reap province, defected to the National Army in Chong Kal district, Siem Reap province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ មានខ្មែរក្រហមគ្មានអាវុធ ២នាក់ឈ្មោះ ធូ វង់ និង ឡាំ ហួន ហៅ ឡាំ មឺន បានមកសារភាព ជាមួយកងទ័ពជាតិនៅស្រុកចុងកាល់ បន្ទាប់ពីអ្នកទាំងពីរបានលួចរត់ ចេញពីតំបន់កាន់កាប់របស់ខ្មាំងនៅភូមិគោកដូង ឃុំវ៉ាន់រិន ខេត្ដសៀម រាប មកនោះ។
