On July 23, 1974, 2 Khmer women Ray Roeun and Kan San defected to Brigade 7 based in Veng village at VT 678-858, Punsaing sub-district, Baset district, Oudong Meanchey province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ២៣-កក្កដា-១៩៧៤ មានស្រីខ្មែរចុះចូលចំនួន២នាក់ ឈ្មោះ រ៉ៃ រឿន និង កាន សាន បានមកចុះចូលនៅកងពលតូចទី៧ នៅភូមិវែង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៦៧៨-៨៥៨ សង្កាត់ពន្សាំង ស្រុកបាសិត ខេត្ដ ឧដុង្គមានជ័យ។
