On March 4, 1974, Kok Mae, 17 years old, defected to Brigade 7 of Division 7 based in Trapeang Preay, Phnom Baset district, Oudong Meanchey province at VT 766-886. He brought along with a Carabine US M-1 No.6897103 and a magazine.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ៤-មីនា-១៩៧៤ មានខ្មែរចុះចូលម្នាក់ឈ្មោះ គក ម៉ើ អាយុ ១៧ ឆ្នាំ បានសុំមកចុះចូលដោយនាំអាវុធការ៉ាប៊ីនអ៊ុយអេស អ៊ឹម១ មួយដើម លេខ៦៨៩៧១០៣ ប្រអប់ច្រកគ្រាប់វែងមួយ នៅកងពលតូចទី៧ នៃកងពលធំទី៧ នៅត្រពាំងព្រាយ ស្រុកភំបាសិត ខេត្ដឧត្ដុង្គមានជ័យ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧៦៦-៨៨៦។
