On March 15, 1974, 400 Khmer Communists in Battalion 07 under the command of Sok, armed forces of Region 15, all equipped with guns such as 2 mortars 82mm, 2 mortars of 60 mm, came to shelter in the west of the national road 2 in Koh Pring village at VT 840-586, Sla Village at VT 036-596 and Rung Kav village at VT 816-590 in Thmei sub-district, Kandal Stung district. These enemy was in an attempt to attack the National Armed Forces base in Kampong Kantuot in the near future.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៨ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ កងទ័ពខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដ៤០០ នាក់ ស្ថិតនៅកងវរៈសេនាតូចលេខ៧ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ សុក កងទ័ពតំបន់១៥ អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ និងមានកាំភ្លើងត្បាល់ទំហំ៨២មម ២ដើម និងទំហំ៦០មម ចំនួន២ដើម បានមកតាំងជម្រកនៅខាងលិច ផ្លូវជាតិលេខ២ ក្នុងភូមិគោកព្រីង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ៨៤០-៥៨៦ ភូមិស្លា វ៉េតេ ០៣៦-៥៩៦ និងភូមិរង់កាវ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨១៦-៥៩០ ក្នុងឃុំថ្មី ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង។ ខ្មាំងទាំងនោះប្រុងវាយប្រហារមកលើ ទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិនៅកំពង់កន្ទួត ក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗខាងមុខនេះ។
