On March 25, 1974, about 450 Khmer Communist soldiers armed with 60 mm and 82 mm heavy artilleries as well as AK-47 rifles under the command of Chhem in Battalion 101 hid between Beung Tonle Baty and Khna village in Lom Pong sub-district, Baty district, Takeo province in an attempt to destroy the National Armed Forces Bases a long the National road #2.
ព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី២៥ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដក្នុងកងវរៈសេនា តូច១០១ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ឆែម ចំនួនប្រហែល៤៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធ ៨២ម.ម ៦០ម.ម អាកា បានបំបែកគ្នាលាក់ខ្លួននៅ ខាងជើងផ្លូវបឹងទនេ្លបាទី រហូតដល់ភូមិខ្នា ឃុំលំពង់ ក្នុងគោលបំណង និងវាយទីតាំងទ័ពជាតិនៅតាមផ្លូវជាតិលេខ២។
