On February 24, 1974, the Khmer Communist soldiers in Battalion C8, unit 7 who just consripted in Battambang province moved to Veal Tratang Andeng in Bakan district, Pursat province in order to receive weapons. Then, they conitinued to go to Russei Kraing village, then to Veay Chap mountain in Battabang province. They were blest and trained in military strategy by Ta Tae and Ta Tao. After, they finished training military strategy there, they went back to Pursat province.
រាត្រីថ្ងៃទី២៤ ខែកុម្ភះ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដកងវរៈសេនាតូច លេខ គ.៨ ក្នុងកងពលទី៧ ក្រោយពីការរៀបចំកងឯកភាពបានពេញ លេញហើយក៏បានធ្វើចលនាចេញទៅបំពាក់អាវុធនៅវាលត្រតាំង អណ្ដែង ស្រុកបាកាន ខេត្ដពោធិ៍សាត់។ នៅថ្ងៃដដែល ខ្មាំងបានធ្វើ ចលនាចេញពីចំណុចខាងលើទៅកាន់ភូមិឫស្សីក្រាំង រួចបន្ដទៅភ្នំវាយ ចាប ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង ដើម្បីហាត់រៀនយុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រ និងប្រស់ព្រំពីតាតើ និង តាតៅ។ ក្រោយហាត់រៀនហើយ កងវរៈសេនាតូច គ.៨ ក៏ត្រឡប់ទៅកាន់ពោធិ៍សាត់វិញ។
