On December 27, 1973, 50 Khmer Communist spent a night at Po Smatt village, at VT 885-627 and then continued their journey to hide at about 1,000m to the southwest of Preak Thnoeng village at VT 886-861.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៧ ធ្នូ ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដចំនួនប្រហែល៥០នាក់ បានធ្វើចលនាចូលមកស្នាក់បណ្ដោះអាសន្នចំនួនមួយយប់នៅក្នុងភូមិ ពោធិស្មាត់ ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៨៨៥-៦២៧ រួចបន្ដចលនាចេញពីភូមិ នេះ ចូលមកលាក់ខ្លួននៅចម្ងាយប្រហែល១,០០០ម ខាងត្បូង ឈៀងខាងលិចភូមិភូមិព្រែកថ្លឹង ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៨៨៦-៦៦១។
