Source reported that on December 24, 1973, 600 Khmer Communist moved as groups of 200 people from Bati district to attack national armed forces so that the National Armed Force were only able to stay in Pratheat and Thom districts. The purpose of the attack was to allow the villagers to harvest rice crops near the region where the national armed forces based and the rice that was already harvested the enemy carried it to stock in a common ban for the use of its movement.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា ចាប់តាំងពីថ្ងៃទី២៤ ធ្នូ ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដ ប្រហែល៦០០នាក់ បានធ្វើចលនាជាក្រុមៗប្រហែល២០០នាក់ ចេញពីបាទី ខេត្ដតាកែវ ដើម្បីចូលមកវាយប្រហាររុញច្រាន កងទ័ពជាតិឱ្យមកនៅត្រឹមតែប្រធាតុ និងស្រុកធំ ពិសេសក្នុងគោលបំណង និងបញ្ជូន អ្នកស្រុកឱ្យមកច្រូតស្រូវទុំនៅក្បែរតំបន់ដែលកងទ័ពជាតិ ឋិតនៅ រីឯស្រូវដែលច្រូតកាត់បានត្រូវពួកនេះយកទៅស្ដុកទុកនៅក្នុង ជម្រុករួម ដើម្បីទុកប្រើប្រាស់ជាប្រយោជន៍នៃចលនារបស់ខ្លួន។
