Source reported that on December 5, 1973, 900 sodiers, from Battalion 73, 223, 224 of Regiment 105 under the command of SIn Kim Eng and 600 soldiers from battalion 18, 23, 86 of Regiment 185 under the command of Cheav alia Kim equipped with weapons, surronded and interuptingly fired Kampot provincial town and at the same time attacked the National Armed Forces who were in the operation along National Road #3.
