On May 21, 1974, a Khmer Communist, Duong Rien, came to defection to Battalion 608, UV 509-933. He was a deputy chief of militiaman in Tompoung village, Nokor Pheas sub-district, Puok district, Siem Reap province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២១ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ មានខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដភ្ញាក់រឮក ម្នាក់ឈ្មោះ ដួង រៀន បានចុះចូលសារភាពជាមួយកងវរៈសេនាតូច លេខ៦៦៨ ចំណុចអ៊ុយវ៉េ ៥០៩-៩៣៣។ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដភ្ញាក់ រឮក ឈ្មោះ ដួង រៀន នេះជាអនុប្រធានឈ្លបភូមិទំពូង ឃុំ នគរភាស ស្រុកពួក ខេត្ដសៀមរាប។
