On July 30, 1971, about 100 Khmer Viet Cong soldiers entered Brachum Angkor village at VT 895-622 and threatened people to joined them, so as to make an attack on the National Army based on bridges along National Road No. 2 from Prek Hour to Siem Reap sub-district, Kandal Stung district.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៣០ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល១០០ នាក់ បានចូលទៅភូមិប្រជុំអង្គ ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ ៨៩៥-៦២២ ហើយ បានបង្ខិតបង្ខំអ្នកស្រុកឱ្យសហការជាមួយពួកវាដើម្បីវាយប្រហារ កងការពារជាតិដែលប្រចាំការតាមស្ពានលើផ្លូវជាតិលេខ២ ចាប់ពី ព្រែកហូររហូតដល់សៀមរាប ក្នុងស្រុកកណ្ដាលសឹ្ទង។
