On 15 May, private first class (PFC) Gary L. Hall, lance corporal (LCPL) Joseph N. Hargrove, and private (PVT) Danmy G. Mashall were an M-60 Machine gun team that was part of an assault force on Tang island. Cambodia during the Mayaguez incident. All there participate in combat operations throught the day and were not Know to have been injured or wounded. At approximately 1900 hours, the order was given for the assoult force to withdraw to beach and set up a defensive perimeter in preparation for extration.
