I have just seen (Tab B) the draft state proposal for a presidential statement on our evacuation from Cambodia. It had not yet been seen by Habib. I think this statemt hits all the wrong themes. It suggests that we are washing our hands of Cambodia. That is not what we want to say.
ខ្ញុំបានឃើញសំណើរព្រាងនៃសេចក្ដីថ្លែងការណ៍នៃប្រធានាធិបតីមួយ ដែលស្ដីពី ការជម្លៀសខ្លួនមកកម្ពុជា។ តែលោក ហាបីប នៅមិនទាន់ ឃើញនៅឡើយទេ។ ខ្ញុំគិតថា សំណើរនេះវាមិនត្រឹមត្រូវទេ គឺយើងមិនមែនដោះដៃចេញពីកម្ពុជានោះទេ។
