We have informed Embassy Bangkok of our desire to move quickly to ring directly to the US. in the next few days the up to 1,200 Cambodians now in Thailand who are eligible for parole. The Embassy has been instructed to canvass the refuges to determine those who are interested in and eligible for resettlement in the US. Seven voluntary agencies have agreed to divide up responsibility for handling resettlement of the Cambodians here.
យើងបានជូនដំណឹងដល់ស្ថានទូតថៃ ពីបំណងរបស់យើងដើម្បីបញ្ជូន ដោយផ្ទាល់ទៅសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក។ នៅប៉ុន្មានថ្ងៃបន្ទាប់នេះ មានប្រជាជន ច្រើនជាង១,២០០នាក់ បានដោះលែងនៅក្នុងទឹកដីថៃ។ ស្ថានទូត បានបង្គាប់ឱ្យសួរនាំជនភៀសខ្លួនទាំងនោះ ដើម្បីបញ្ជាក់ឱ្យច្បាស់ថា អ្នកណាចាប់អារម្មណ៍ និងទទួលបានសិទ្ធិទៅរស់នៅសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក។ មានភ្នាក់ងារស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដ៧នាក់ បានយល់ព្រមចែងចែកកិច្ចការទៅរស់នៅ នេះរបស់ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា។
