A letter on April 5, 1975, sent to father Mecaffrey : The warm words of support and encouragement in your recent letter are deeply appreciated. It is a source of great strength to me to know that Americans such as yourself stand behind me in search for a just peace in Cambodia and the world.
លិខិត ចុះថ្ងៃទី០៥ មេសា ១៩៧៥ ផ្ញើជូនលោកឪពុក មេខាហ្វ្រី ៈ ជាការគាំទ្រ និងលើកការទឹកចិត្ដដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់របស់លោកឪពុក។ វាជាការ គាំទ្រយ៉ាងកក់ក្ដៅបំផុតរបស់ប្រជាជាតិអាមេរិក ក៏ដូចជារូបលោកផ្ទាល់ មកខ្ញុំ ក្នុងការស្វែងរកសន្ដិភាពនៅកម្ពុជា ក៏ដូចជានៅជុំវិញពិភពលោក។
