A Khmer Communist, Yuos Sovann, 22 years old, born in Trea village Trea sub-district, Kandal Stung district, Kandal province, escaped from enemy region to defect to sub-military in Phnom Penh on July 03, 1974, because he could not bear the hardship. He requested to serve the National Army.
ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដឈ្មោះ យស់ សុវណ្ណ អាយុ២២ឆ្នាំ កើតនៅភូមិទ្រា ឃុំទ្រា ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល បានរត់ចេញពីតំបន់ខ្មាំង ដោយមានការលំបាកលោក មកចុះចូលជាមួយផ្នែកសឹករងភ្នំពេញ កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៣ កក្កដា ១៩៧៤ ហើយបានសំណូមពរសុំចូលបម្រើក្នុង កងទ័ពជាតិ។
