Upon the conclusion of the Paris agreement on Vietnam, which was signed on January 27, 1973, the United States began a determined effort of promote a ceasefire and political settlement in Laos and Cambodia as well. It was our firm conviction that with an agreement achieved in Vietnam, there was no reason.
យោងតាមសេចក្ដីសមេ្រចរបស់កិច្ចព្រមព្រៀង ទីក្រុងប៉ារីសលើប្រទេសវៀតណាម ចុះថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែមករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិចបានព្យាយាម អនុវត្ដការឈប់បាញ់ និងដោះស្រាយបញ្ហានយោបាយ ក្នុងប្រទេសឡាវ និងកម្ពុជា។ នេះជាការតាំងចិត្ដដ៏មុតមាំ ដើម្បីសមេ្រចអោយបាននូវកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងនេះ។
