Throughout the negotiations that led to the Paris Agreement on Vietname on January 1973, the United States repeatedly indicated-both these negotiations and through other diannels-its desire to see a ceasefire and political settlement in Cambodia, as well as Vietnam and Laos.
ឆ្លងតាមការចរចារដែលនាំឱ្យមានកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងទីក្រុងប៉ារីស កាលពីខែមករា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ នៅវៀតណាម, សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិច បានបង្ហាញពីជំហររបស់ខ្លួន តាមរយៈការចរចារនេះក៏ដូចជា សកម្មភាពដ៏ទៃឱ្យមានការឈប់បាញ់ និងមានដំណោះស្រាយ នយោបាយនៅកម្ពុជា, វៀតណាម និងឡាវ។
