From 1966-1972 the US bombing was happend in the North Vietnam. President Lyndon B. Johson on March 31, 1968 order a partail halt to the bombing of North Vietnam. During the suspension period, U.S. fighter-bomber attack sorties over North Vietnam totaled 3,774 with a total bomb tonnage of 4,580. These attacks were almost exclusively below the 20th parallel.
កាលពីឆ្នាំ១៩៦៦-១៩៧២ សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិចបានទម្លាកគ្រាប់បែក ទៅលើប្រទេសវៀតណាមខាងជើង លោកនាយករដ្ឋមន្ដ្រី លីដុន ប៊ី ចនសុន បានបញ្ជាឱ្យបញ្ឈប់ការទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែកនេះកាលពីថ្ងៃទី៣១ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៦៨។ នៅក្នុងអំឡុងពេលនោះ កងអាកាស សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិចបានទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែក ទៅលើប្រទេសវៀតណាម ខាងជើងចំនួន៣៧៧៤ និងអស់៤៥៨០គ្រាប់។ ការវាយប្រហារស្ថិតនៅតាមរយៈខ្សែបន្លាយក្ដោងទី២០ ស្ទើរទាំងស្រុង។
