Khmer-North Yuon Viet Cong troops in Region 15 and 20 of Southwest zone set up shelters in various places. About 200 troops under the command of Nhem Bin called Ta Rom hid themelves in a forest in the southern part of Ampel Roung village VU 275-013, Tumnup Thom commune. Another 100 enemy troops hid themselves in a forest in the western part of Damnak Pring VU 727-004, Tumnup Thom, and 100 other under the command of Ta Paong deployed in Trapeang Khchao village VT 678-984.
ទ័ពខ្មែរ និងយួនយៀកកុងខាងជើងនៅតំបន់១៥ និងតំបន់២០ ក្នុងភូមិ ភាគនិរតី បានចូលមកតាំងជម្រកតាមកន្លែងនានាដូចខាងក្រោមៈ -ខ្មាំងចំនួនប្រហែល២០០នាក់ មានឈ្មោះ ញ៉ែម មិន ហៅ តារោម ជាមេបានមកលាក់ខ្លួនក្នុងព្រៃខាងត្បូងភូមិអំពិលរូង ចំណុចវ៉េអ៊ុយៈ ២៧៥-០១៣ ក្នុងឃុំទំបន់ធំ។ -ខ្មាំងប្រហែល១០០នាក់ មកលាក់ខ្លួនក្នុងព្រៃខាងលិចភូមិដំណាក់ព្រឹង វ៉េអ៊ុយៈ ៧២៧-០០៤ ក្នុងឃុំទំនប់ធំ។ -យួន និងខ្មែរយៀកកុងចំនួន១០០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ តា ប៉ោង បានមកលាក់ខ្លួននៅ ភូមិត្រពាំងខ្ចៅ វ៉េតេៈ ៦៧៨-៩៨៤។
