Thach Pech aka Vorn Chen, male, 60, was born in Khanh Hing sub-district, Mei Svieng district, Sok Traing province [Kampuchea Krom]. Pech was a monk for 3 years between 1937 and 1940. The next activities were that he stayed at Po Rien Ban pagoda. He then bid farewell to his uncle and studied Pali for 4 years. In 1975, he went to Vietnam to search for his nephew/niece to be reunited. The Vietnameseauthority then sent him back to Kampuchea and Angkar made his arrest later.
ថាច់ ពេច ហៅ វន ជេន ភេទប្រុស អាយុ ៦០ឆ្នាំ កើតនៅឃុំ ខាញ់ហឹង ស្រុកមីស្វៀង ខេត្ដ សុកត្រាំង «កម្ពុជាក្រោម» បួសមួយរយៈពេល ៣ឆ្នាំ ១៩៣៧-១៩៤០។ សកម្មភាពបន្ដបន្ទាប់មកទៀតបានទៅស្នាក់នៅវត្ដពោធ៍រៀនបាល ក្រោយមកក៏សូមលាពូមកភ្នំពេញរៀនបាលីថែម ៤ឆ្នាំទៀត ។ ១៩៧៥ បានទៅស្រុកយួនវិញដើម្បីរកក្មួយដើម្បីឱ្យបានជួបជុំគ្នា បន្ទាប់មកទៀតរដ្ឋអំណាចយួនបានបញ្ជូនកមស្រុកខ្មែរវិញហើយបាន ត្រូវអង្គការចាប់ឃុំទៅ ។
