Tep Saran, Chief of Squad of Platoon 11 [502], was born in Prek Popang Village, Svay Prateal Sub-district, District 16, Region 25, did farm with his parents. Saran joined the revolution in 1974 through Mai, Chief of Popang Village militiaman, and then served at artillery unit of Division 11 under Chap, [soldier of]Division 502, and Vin, [50], Chy [502]. From 1975 to 1976, Saran stayed at an artillery unit. In 1977, Saran was a chief of Company 31, Battalion 503 [502]. Saran adopted a free stance toward picking up fruits, damaging radar twice, radio, and a cassette player. Khien [traitor]and Pheach [traitor]advised Saran not to pay highly attention to guard and not to work hard.
ទេព សារ៉ន ប្រធានពួកអនុសេនាតូច ១១ «៥០២»កើតនៅភូមិ ព្រែកពោធិប៉ាង ឃុំស្វាយប្រទាល ស្រុក ១៦ តំបន់ ២៥ ធ្វើស្រែចំការជាមួយ«ពុកម្ដាយ ។ ចូលបដិវត្ដន៍នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ តាមរយៈ ម៉ៃ ប្រធានឈ្លបភូមិពោធិប៉ាង និង ទៅនៅកងកាំភ្លើងធំ កងពល ១១ ដែលមានអ្នកទទួលខុសត្រូវឈ្មោះ ចាប កងពល ៥០២ និង វិន «៥០», ជី «៥០២»។ ១៩៧៥-១៩៧៦ នៅកងកាំភ្លើងធំដដែល ដល់ឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៧ ជាប្រធានអនុសេនាធំ ៣១ វរៈសេនាតូច ៥០៣ «៥០២»ដើរហើរសេរី បេះផ្លែឈើ ធ្វើឱ្យខូចរ៉ាដា ២ដង ខូចវិទ្យុទទួលសំឡេង និងម៉ាញ៉េ ១គ្រឿង ។ ខៀន «ក្បត់»ភាជ «ក្បត់»បានណែនាំ សារ៉ន យាមកុំឱ្យយក ចិត្ដទុកដាក់ ធ្វើការកុំខំពេក ។
