On July 8, 1971, about 2,000 North Yuon Viet Cong soldiers set up trenches at WU 221-968 and 230-965, in Tra Yang village and established Military Strategy Center and Medicine School between Svay village in Sandann district and Phnom Chi mountain in Boeng Lvea region, Kampong Thom province. The above North Viet Cong soldiers had 6 trucks and 2 tractors.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ៨-កក្កដា-១៩៧១ គេប្រទះឃើញជម្រកលេណដ្ឋានខ្មាំង យៀកកុងយួនខាងជើង ព្រមទាំងមានកងពលប្រដាប់អាវុធចំនួន ប្រហែល២,០០០នាក់ ស្ថិតនៅក្បែរភូមិត្រយ៉ង់ ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េ អ៊ុយ ២២១-៩៦៨, ២៣០-៩៦៥ ពីលេណដ្ឋានចុះមកភូមិស្វាយ ក្នុងស្រុកសណ្ដាន់ និងចុះមកភូមិជី តំបន់បឹងល្វា គឺជាកន្លែងហ្វឹកហ្វឺន យុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រ និងបង្រៀនវិជ្ជាពេទ្យ ព្រមទាំងមានរថយន្ដកាមីញ៉ុងធុនធំ ចំនួន៦គ្រឿង ត្រាក់ទ័រ២គ្រឿងនៅប្រចាំការទីនោះផង។
