On May 16, 1970, Sok Nem, who lived in Kampong Cham sub-district, Kampong Siem district, Kampong Cham province, voluntarily joined the National Armed Forces. Then, he was appointed as a corporal trainee in military police unit.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៦ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ ឈ្មោះ សុក ណែម រស់នៅ ឃុំកំពង់ចាម ស្រុកកំពង់សៀម ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម បានស្ម័្រគចិត្ដចូល បម្រើក្នុងកងយោធាពលខេមរជាតិ មានឋានៈជាសិស្សពលបាលត្រី តម្រួតយោធា។
