On July 07, 1971, about 300 to 400 North Yuon Viet Cong soldiers including 100 Khmer Viet Cong soldiers under the command of Laok Ta deployed at VT 775-935, in Ta Pek Tauch village, at VT 780-935, to the south of Tra Peang Sangke village at VT 785-629, to the east of Chen village, Ponhea Leu district, Kandal province. They attemped to attack the National Army in Praset mountain, Khleang Sang headquarter and a long Prek Pnao street.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៧ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ យួន និងខ្មែរយៀកុងចំនួន ប្រហែល៣០០ ទៅ៤០០នាក់ ក្នុងចំណោមនោះខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល ១០០នាក់ មេគេហៅថា (លោកតា) មករាយបណ្ដាក់គ្នានៅភូមិ តាពែកតូច ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧៧៥-៩៣៥ នៅក្នុងឃុំជ្រៃលាស់ នៅក្នុងព្រៃខាងកើតភូមិចិន ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧៨៥-៩២៦ ខាងត្បូងភូមិត្រពាំងសង្កែ ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧៨៥-៩២៦ នៅភូមិស្នួល ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៧៨៦-៩១៦។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះមានបំណងវាយ ប្រហារកងទ័ពជាតិតាមបណ្ដោយផ្លូវព្រែកព្នៅ ភ្នំប្រសិទ្ធិ និងបន្ទាយឃ្លាំងសាំង។
