On May 20, 1974, about 120 Khmer Communist soldiers armed with one 60mm mortars, two FM bas guns, two M30mm guns and rifles, under the command of Tatt Thol moved from Prek Liep to VT 860-930 in Kraol Phao.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២០ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដចំនួនប្រហែល ១២០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃពិសេសកាំភើ្លងក្បាល់៦០មម មួយដើម, អេហ្វអឹមបេអាអេស ២ដើម និងអ៊ឹម៣០មម ២ដើម ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ គាត់ ថុល បានធើ្វចលនាត្រឡប់ពីព្រែកលៀប ក្រោយពេលវាយប្រហារទៅរាយគ្នាស្នាក់នៅក្រោលគោ ត្រង់ចំណុច វ៉េតេ៨៦០-៩៣០។
