The source reported that On Decembe 19, 1973, maybe 500 Khmer Communist armed forces in Battalion 112, under commander of Mat, retrealed from village VT 452-811 Sangkat Krang Chek, Peang Lvea district, to stay Wat Phnom, VT 644-806, in Sangkat Peang Lvea, Peang Lvea district, Kirirum. The sources added that they attempted to cut off National Road 4 near Thnol Totoeng and Ang Snuol.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៩ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនីស្ដ ក្នុងវរសេនាតូច១១២ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ម៉ាត់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ បានដកថយពីភូមិ វ៉េតេ ៤៥២-៨១១ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ក្រាំងចេក ស្រុកពាំងលា្វ ហើយឆ្ពោះមកស្នាក់នៅវត្ដភំ្ន ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦៤៤-៨០៦ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ពាំងល្វា (គីរីរម្យ)។ ប្រភពបានបញ្ជាក់ថា គោលបំណងរបស់ខ្មាំងប្រុងវាយផ្ដាច់ផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៤ នៅមំ្ដុ ថ្នល់ទទឹងអង្គស្នួល។
