On November 11, 1973, approximative 1,000 Khmer-Yuon Viet Cong soldiers deployed the edge of the Prek Spean at VU 583-680, 558-677. They attempted to destroy National Army Base in Bralay Meas.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១១ ខែវិចិ្ឆកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានយួនយៀកកុងប្រហែល ១,០០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃបានរាយគ្នានៅតាមមាត់ ស្ទឹងក្នុងព្រែកស្ពាន វ៉េអ៊ុយ ៥៥៣-៦៨០, ៥៥៨-៦៧៣ ក្នុងគោលបំណងវាយកងទ័ពជាតិនៅប្រឡាយមាស។
