On November 8, 1973, maybe 500 Khmer Communists in Regiment 7, under the commander of Ren, moved from Samrong village UU 033-952, toward Thnam village at UU 234 -936, in Mong Russei district, Battambang province. They were assigned to collect food from villager in that area.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែវិចិ្ឆកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដប្រហែល ៥០០នាក់ ដែលស្ថិតនៅក្នុងកងវរសេនាធំលេខ៧ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការ ឈ្មោះ រែន បានធ្វើចលនាពីភូមិសំរោង អ៊ុយអ៊ុយ ០៣៣-៩៥២ មកស្នាក់នៅក្នុងភូមិថ្នម ត្រង់អ៊ុយអ៊ុយ ២៣៤-៩៣៦ ក្នុងស្រុក មោងប្ញស្សី បាត់ដំបង។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើមាននាទីដើរប្រមូលស្បៀងពី អ្នកស្រុកក្នុងតំបន់នោះ។
